The Advance Monitoring Solutions sales team had an excellent reception at this year’s LGA conference in Harrogate. Manned by three AMS sales staff, the huge volume of visitors to the stand were treated to presentations revealing the advanced nature of the wireless technology now available to local authorities. Their response was extremely positive, with the company moving forward with over 50 new contacts across England.
AMS Technical Director John Wilkins was also available for part of the conference to answer questions about the advanced nature of the technology now on offer, and the element of control that now lies in the hands of the operators. The first 100 visitors to the stand were also able to walk away with a sample of the award winning Standby Saver, the Dragons’ Den product that has sold 530,000 in its first year of trading.
“We had an extremely successful conference this year,” said Andy Haughton AMS Head of Business Development. “It is clear that a number of local authorities were unaware of the advancements currently being realised, the nature of today’s wireless technology, the speed of installation and the savings that can be achieved through public/private partnerships. It will be our task to brief all these parties over the next few weeks".
AMS work at the forefront of wireless CCTV transmission, monitoring and installation, and recently secured a multi £million PPP contract with Breckland District Council.
