Breakthrough gains technology funding

The remarkable technology behind the Advance Group's Medusa Monitoring System  was last year identified for a major research and development grant.

The company received the research and development grant from the East Midlands Development Agency, under their ‘Funding Technology in the East Midlands’ programme. They in turn were supported by the DTI and the European Regional Fund.

John Wilkins, Group Technical Director, who accepted the award, said, “The grant support has enabled us to develop Medusa far more quickly than might otherwise have been possible. I see it as a great accolade that the DTI and EMDA have recognised the importance of our technology, skills and discipline."
